V Festival
V Festival usually happens around august, and actually has 2 sites. One of the sites is in Chelmsford and the other is in Staffordshire. Don’t worry about picking between the north’s venue and the south’s venue as both sites have the same act they just swap days. V festival was originally a rock festival but over the years the pop scene has snuck in and are now the most popular acts seen. V festival dates back to 1996 and was thought up by Jarvis Cocker, the front man of pulp. Some of the best known acts to have performed here are Razorlight, Coldplay, Kaiser chiefs, Sterophonics, Daft Punk, Kylie Minogue, Rhianna, Girls aloud, and Beyonce.
