Old Trafford. This speaks for itself really. The home of the giants of Premiership Football: Manchester United. Take in the sights and the presence from the Theatre of Dreams itself. Basque in the surroundings that have hosted some of the greatest games in history.
Etihad Stadium. A must if you are are supporter of the Citizens: Manchester City. Fast becoming one of the most powerful clubs in the world, take in the Eithad Stadium and its surroundings of Sport City, the place that hosted the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
The Trafford Centre. Although it is a little out of the way in terms of Manchester City Centre, it is a great place to do some shopping, perhaps buy a gift for those back home. The Trafford Centre, opened in 1998, is architecturally a beautiful building and is the second largest shopping centre in the UK.
The Arndale is Manchester City Centre’s shopping centre. Situated at the heart of the centre on Market Street, it is ideal for a city centre shopping spree, with restaurants and a local food market as well.
Manchester is a cultural hub and your day out all depends on what you wish to do. There are many bars to visit, be it Deansgate Locks, Oxford Road, The Printworks, The world famous Canal Street, the cultural Northern Quarter. Whatever you’re looking for, it’s here in Manchester.
